Toc H Brisbane Branch is a group of around 20 committed and active members who undertake grass roots community service in the local area. Our members are supported by a brigade of enthusiastic volunteers who help with particular projects. The branch has a proud 100 year history and in 2009 merged with the Brisbane Toc H Action Group.

The branch generally meets three to four times each year. These meetings are relatively informal and held at Club Yeronga.

For convenience, there is regular communication by e-mail with Facebook notices of upcoming events.

The main projects undertaken by the branch each year are:

ANZAC Day

To pay our respect to our organisations origins in WW1, we attend the Toc H QLD Midnight ANZAC service at the Shrine of Remembrance at 12am on the 25/04 each year. We also march in the ANZAC day parade, through the streets of Brisbane.

Ekka Outing - RNA Showgrounds, Bowen Hills

The RNA committee generously provide us tickets that enable us to take over 250 sick and disadvantaged kids to the annual Royal Brisbane Show (EKKA). Through generous donations by businesses and funds generated by our fundraising initiatives, lunch, an infamous strawberry ice-cream and a morning full of rides are shouted, along with a show bag put together by our volunteers, allowing families to experience the full EKKA experience and create lasting memories together.

Halloween - Tambourine Memorial Hall (supporting Scenic Rim Regional Cadets)

Annually, Toc H Brisbane Branch supports the Scenic Rim Regional Cadets Halloween Fundraiser event.

Cadets who have supported Toc H events are presented with certificates of appreciation, at their annual march out ceremony, by members of the Toc H Brisbane branch board, to express our appreciation for their service.
